If you are looking for something cheap and nothing else, probably you should stay in this surfhouse. As for the rest, nothing else. The house is dirty and the so called included breakfast it is just cheap ass carrefour cornflakes and instant coffee. You will be much better off with a breakfast on the beach for the same price. Don't be surprised to see cockroaches in the house. If you are ok with sleeping with sand in slightly moist sheets, go for it, otherwise I would never recommend it to a friend.

I love staying at Hotel Ines and have been going there for a long time. The food is great, everyone is super cool and it's family run. It's like coming home to your extended family every time you come back.

This place is incredible if you are lucky enough to get availability. Its a dream surf shack with everything you need and nothing you dont. The owners live locally and are super easy to deal with. Look right at pipe from the deck, outdoor shower/bbq, etc. You really cant beat just sitting on the front deck and watching the ocean, constantly changing and entertaining.

Amazing trip. The boat was a little beat up, but it is spacious and well equipped.

Overpriced for what you get. Owners seem a little aggresive. If theres something else nearby, id take that :)

I couldn't have expected or asked for a more pleasant experience and stay in Playa Hermosa. The apartment was clean, new, modern, with an amazing glass shower, the grounds were lush and beautiful, the landlord and his girlfriend were kind and friendly souls. The location was great, next to a yoga retreat and close enough to enjoy the beach daily.

This rental was the best place I have ever stayed on vacation. It was really close to beaches and Princeville/Hanalei were about a 10 minute drive away. This rental had everything you could possibly think of to have a fun and relaxed stay in Kauai. Karen is extremely nice and provides all the little things you always forget when you go on vacation. She is full of advice about where to go on the island and has nice local tips.

We lucked into this place as it was a friend of a friends and the owner happened to be down there. Rick is a completely entertaining/amazing host, showed us all around the area on his 4x4 "mule" thing (golf cart on steroids) that can go through rivers etc. Can check the point from the pool, wait for the ride tide or crowds, and sneak out for a few waves. Its over the top luxurious, but would really only come to like $100/night each if you got a group together during the prime surf season (may-oct). One of the best places all around I have ever stayed at, one of the nicest houses I have ever been in. Lordes and Morris (house dogs) are one of the best parts. Great house to cook in.

This place is perfect if you can swing it. We rented one of the Casitas. It really doesnt get much easier, super clean relaxing place to stay, 2 minute walk to the waves, check the surf all day and go out when the crowd thins out.
