We have a great beach break right here-only a 3 minute walk. The waves vary-right now it is really big about 8 foot. But most of the time it is 2-4 foot. This beach is located behind the Osa Peninsula. So the waves get progressively smaller as you go north. You have to see the map. Pavones, a famous left-hand point break is close by as well. When the waves are smaller, it is usually good here. If it gets really big you go to Pavones. I imagine it is rockin right now! The house is available starting Monday, August 7 2012 and so far free until November. This area is off the beaten track and is worth checking out. Zancudo Beach is not on the map here yet....so that is why the location from the surf sounds strange...now they need to put us on the map

Many people coming to Dominical think that the best rental would be on the beach. Fact is that it is hot and the mosquito and sand fleas are abundant, no breeze and the smell of the diesel trucks will surely wake you up in the morning. Up in the mountain there is a nice breeze, bugs are at a minimum and it will be the howler monkeys that wake you up in the morning. CASA DE CINEMA. Located 1000' in the Escaleras Mountains is this lovely private house overlooking the Pacific Ocean. One bedroom has a king size water bed and ceiling fan. The other bedroom has a single bed and a double bed with air conditioning. A 32 inch TV with a huge library of DVD's is available for those rainy days. And there is a very comfortable porch with eating area, couch and hammock. A 1/3 mile cement trail goes thru the rainforest. Close by is Dominical's only movie theater showing classic films every Friday night during the dry season (December thru April) Free admission for guests. Just a few blocks up the road is the Belle Vista Riding stable for a fun adventure in the mountains and a gallop on the beach. Down the road is the famous Pozo Azul waterfall and swimming hole. A delight for gringos and Ticos. The secluded beach at Playa Dominicalito is only 1.2 miles from the house and we're 3 miles from the center of Dominical.

Canto del Mar villas are located only 300 meters from the beach (Playa Dominicalito), and 5 min drive to Dominical beach. 10 min drive and you can find other different spots! As close to the beach in Dominical as you can get. New construction home with lovely pool, about 1km south of the town. Surf in front of the home, or walk up the beach to the town. There are two other homes also for rent, so if you've got a big group, we can accommodate you. Two bedrooms with queen beds and one with a single and double. Very nice; not a dive.

The property is right next to a grocery store and a 3 minute walk to one of the best surf breaks in the country. If you have large groups you can rent out the entire property for a discount and it's perfect for groups of friends or family reunions. It's very relaxing and renters are welcome to pick the mangos, plantains, lemons, papaya etc.
