Eleuthera Island, the name means Freedom ... Discovered in 1688 by a band of shipwrecked adventurers, they named the 100 mile sliver of land after the Greek word for freedom.

Today you can experience that freedom on your own Island surf adventure at Cove House Bahamas. Cove House, located on the picturesque Harbor Cove of Gregory Town is an authentically renovated colonial Bahamian home with great stone pillars sparkling white against the back drop of Sea and Sun.

Cove House features a unique Island decor. Clean and comfortable Island living. Cove House is located close to everything the Island offers especially the Surf Breaks of Surfers Beach, Holiday Beach, and Hatchet Bay plus unique Island made shopping and grocery stores.

The owner of Cove House, Harry Wilson has been surfing Eleuthera since he was a grom back in the early 70's. He has worked within the Surf Industry for 40 years as a surf shop owner, sales rep, and board manufacturer. His knowledge of Eleuthera's waves, wind and surf breaks is extensive and he is happy to share with surfers staying at Cove House. No need for a board rental when you stay at Cove House because board use is included. Harry has a large selection of short boards, fun shapes, long boards, and big wave guns to choose from. Two Stand Up Paddle Boards as well as a two man Kayak are also available. For the convenience of guests wireless high speed internet and cable TV are available throughout Cove House.

Cove House offers three separate rental properties within:
The Cove House three bedroom, one bath flat that can accommodate up to 6 persons.
The one bedroom, one bath Compass Cottage which also features a sleeping loft to sleep 4 or 5 people.
The one bedroom , one bath efficiency known as the Captain's Quarters which is perfect for 2-4 persons.
All three properties at Cove House are located directly on the Ocean Front, have private balconies and decks overlooking the Sea and share a common gated garden patio with comfortable outdoor furniture and, of course a BBQ grill.
