Rochelle's place was perfect for me and my girlfriend. Rochelle is the perfect host/tour guide to this area and she is super helpful, friendly and resourceful. The house has an amazing dedicated Yoga room, and the unit we stayed in was nice and clean with a comfy bed. The house has bikes, longboards, boogy boards, and paddle boards you can rent/use as needed, and Rochelle does surf lessons too. I love this location, you can walk right across the street to sunset beach for sunsets, a few blocks down the street is Teds bakery (breakfast lunch and snacks), and of course you can walk/bike to most north shore waves.

Puerto Escondido
Hotel Ines is the go to choice for travelling world tour pros all the way down to familes of 4 looking for a cool place to stay on their beach vacation. Great food, decent rates and being located right on the main surf zone of Zicatela keeps people coming back again and again. It's right smack dab on the middle of Playa Zicatela. right where the main lifeguard tower is. They have an awesome pool and the restaurant is kick butt. They just run a tab with you so you eat and you feel like you are at home since you are not pulling money out everytime you are eating! The staff is super friendly and if you like to people watch, during surf season there is 100% chance you will see some of your favorite chargers eating some fruit at the bar or filling up on coffee before they do battle with the nastiest beachbreak in the world! This is my favorite place to stay while in Puerto! They have rooms and room sizes for all budgets and the food is great! They have a 10 dollar grass fed steak that is awesome and oh yea- don't forget the awesome happy hour they have- 2 for 1 margaritas, pina coladas and Rum and cokes! Can't beat that especially when they waves are bad and it's party time!

Centrally located between Pleasures and Steamers. I liked the harbor neighborhood because it was quiet and had the feel of a surf town. We would walk down in the morning to the cafe on the beach and have coffee. The mexican restaurant Palimar has $5 margaritas and decent burritos. There's a hawaiian bbq spot a block away and a seafood cafe for break/lunch a block up on 7th. Verve coffee, check it. I gave the house a 4/5 because I couldn't walk to surf and it wasn't ON the beach.

This is an awesome place to rent when you stat by Colorados! The owner, Maggie is really nice and she supplies you with all the information you need. She has mountain bikes for you to use to check the other places too! She has a folder with all the phone numbers you need for food delivery, fishing, massage etc...If you are looking for a turn key, hassle free vacation where you don;t even need to rent a car- this is your place. The main peak of Colorados is literally down the path right in front of you.
